Registration for Ugadi Utsavalu

Based on our motto of "Culture, Community and Celebration", here are a few guidelines for the Ugadi performances to make them enjoyable for all.

  • All performances must be in “Telugu” only.
  • There should be at least 5 participants per program.
  • Each participant can participate only in one performance per category.
  • Please make sure the program time does not exceed 5 minutes.
  • Longer duration will be considered for larger groups/plays.
  • Classical Programs depicting our culture and traditions, plays and skits are encouraged.
  • If you are interested in an individual performance please contact the organizers at info@tawct.org.
  • Prior to registering your song, you must confirm that the song is not already reserved by others, even as a part of medley. Please register early to avoid any such conflict.
  • We want all the artists to be encouraged and applauded and would not publish the schedule before hand to avoid selective attendance.
  • To keep our culture and celebration going, we need all your support in cheering young talent and spending time with our community at Ugadi celebrations. To make that a reality, we do not entertain any special requests and time preferences for specific performances.

We are privileged to have about 200 unique participants performing in Ugadi. It takes an enormous amout of time and effort to plan a schedule that works for everyone. Kindly recognize that the organizers take various constraints into account and arrive at the final schedule and decisions. Please accept the above terms and conditions before registering your performance and plan ahead to have a wonderful time.
